is an illustrator and artist based in Frederick, MD. She can’t remember a time when she wasn’t making little books– writing stories and creating images to go with them, which led her to getting a BFA in illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Most of her work is digital, but she also works with gouache and colored pencils. Her work is inspired by a continual love for the outdoor world, fairy tales and myths, and medieval fantasy. Gloria loves to use bright colors, expressive patterns, and fun textures. When she’s not illustrating, you may (or may not) be able to find her out in the woods or reading in her hammock.
